         As Government Announced earlier that, now Sudhhowala Polytechnic has been upgraded to Women’s Institute of Technology dehradun. This was a very good step by Uttarakhand Government to Open a Women’s Engineering College, so that girls will have more opportunity to take admission in a good Government Engineering College.

       Admission Will is open in this Session 2012-2013 through AIEEE-2012 and UKSEE-2012 both. Uttarakhand Technical University Requested to Diploma Holder girls of year 2011 & year 2012 to register for admission for admission in Women’s Institute of Technology, Dehradun.
There are 5 disciplines in which admission will be given on the basis of merit of Marks obtained in Diploma. As UTU first preference will be given to UKSEE-2012 merit and if vacancy remains marks of Diploma will be considered.

2. Mechanical Engineering                    60 Seats               
3. Electrical Engineering                        60 Seats
4. Civil Engineering                                60 Seats
5. Computer Science & Engineering     60 Seats
